Her Chef Bear Page 12
Scott opened his mouth opening to Frederica’s, kissing her greedily. He groaned as her tongue slipped between his lips, and his hands came up to grip her sides, his fingers spread wide across her ribs. One kiss bled into the next until Scott didn’t know where one ended and the next began.
One of his hands had a firm grip on the sharp angle of her hip, his fingers kneading into her flesh, while the other pressed against the center of her back, his fingers splayed wide so that he could touch as much of her as possible. Frederica’s mouth was slanted over his, his tongue stroking languidly into her mouth, and the fit of her body against his was nothing short of enlightening.
It was like being seventeen again, but infinitely better, because he was kissing the woman that he loved.
Be-be-be-beep! Be-be-be-beep! Be-be-be-beep!
The alarm startled them, their rhythm stuttering, and Frederica laughed.
“It’s my cell phone,” said Scott with real regret. “We should start getting ready to go.”
“It’s probably for the best,” said Frederica. She smiled at him impishly. “This is a public beach.”
Scott wondered if they could afford to have a bit of private beach at their next house. It could be a lot of fun.
Frederica kissed the side of his neck then rolled off of him, leaving Scott to quell his rebellious body. The sight of her sitting on her heels beside him – her solemn face flushed pink and smiling, her dark hair wild around her shoulders, and her scent…
In his pants, his erection twitched, and Scott bit the inside of his cheek, hard.
“Are you coming?”
“In a minute,” Scott shifted his weight, subtly readjusting himself. “We don’t have to go right away.”
“I want to get to my surprise on time!” Frederica hesitated. “Can we be late for it?”
“Unfortunately,” Scott admitted.
“Up, up, up! Hurry up! I don’t want to be late!”
Scott groaned again, theatrically this time, but he still managed to haul himself upright.
While Frederica shook out the blanket and folded it away, Scott did his level best to think unappealing thoughts. It was difficult though, especially with the way that Frederica’s jeans hugged her butt.
Tipping his head back, Scott determinedly studied the darkening sky. Overhead, the sun had already set, leaving the lavender sky lined with lingering streaks of gold and red. Taking a deep breath, he began to slowly count backwards from one hundred.
When he had things under control again, they returned the picnic things to his old house, taking advantage of the opportunity to spray each other down with bug spray and grab a couple of bottles of cold water before returning to the beach, hand in hand.
It was nearly dark by the time that they got back to the beach, hiking further up it to join a milling group of about twenty people.
“Excuse me, everyone, excuse me,” called a woman in a blue tank top and khaki shorts. “If you’re here, you should be here for the turtle walk.”
Next to Scott, Frederica squeaked and clutched at his arm. Looking up at him, she demanded urgently, “Are we here for the turtle walk?”
“Yes,” he replied, grinning down at her.
“I’ve always wanted to do this!”
“I know.” When Frederica looked up at him, surprised, Scott felt his smile soften. Tucking a bit of hair behind Frederica’s ear, he said fondly, “You told me so the very first time that we met. I didn’t forget it.”
Frederica looked awed… and really, really touched.
At the front of the group, the guide was saying, “I’m Thelma, and this is my partner, Doug. I have the list of names, and Doug will be taking your monies. After we finish taking care of the business end of things, Doug will talk to you about the life and habits of loggerhead sea turtles, while I go look and see which nests look likely to hatch tonight.”
“Best day ever! Best engagement ever,” hissed Frederica under her breath, and, elated, Scott gave her a little squeeze.
Proposing to Frederica hadn’t gone exactly as planned, but looking down into her delighted face, Scott decided that it had gone exactly as he had hoped that it would: perfectly.
She was his, he was hers, and together they were about to embark on the next chapter of their lives together.
Everything was absolutely perfect.
Chapter 19 – Frederica
Impatience had ruined the best laid plans of mice and men, and the same was true of Frederica’s eight point plan for her future with Scott. She just couldn’t wait to marry him!
“Are you sure that you want to do this?” asked Scott.
“Yes, of course.” A terrible thought struck Frederica. “Don’t you want to marry me too?”
“Yes, of course, I do,” said Scott warmly, and through their bond, Frederica could feel how sincerely he meant it. “It’s just… you’re not an impulsive person. That’s usually my bag. And this is a really, really impulsive thing to do."
“You’re here. That’s all I really need.”
“What about your parents? And all your sisters and brothers?”
“Darling, I have a lot of sisters and brothers. And I have more parents than you do too. If we invited them all, this would be a very big wedding.”
Despite her blithe words, Frederica’s great-grandmother’s locket hung heavy around her neck. Of course, in life her great-grandmother would hardly have been one to object. Frederica rather thought that the lady would approve. She had eloped three times, after all.
“I know that you’re really close with Grissom and Ellis,” said Scott. “They should probably be here, at least.”
“If I miss them, we can have a bigger wedding later, one with all of my relatives and all of yours too. Or we can just have a reception. I bet they’d like that. Or we could just send them really nice photographs of us in our wedding gear.”
Scott laughed. “If you’re sure?”
“Sure, I’m sure. Unless there’s someone you’d like to wait for?”
“No,” said Scott. “You’re here, after all. Everyone else is just garnish.”
And through their bond, Frederica could feel just how much he meant that too.
Frederica beamed up at Scott. He looked so handsome in his uniform that Frederica could barely keep her hands off of him.
For herself, Frederica was wearing a long, heavy coat borrowed from a friend. She had it buttoned up to her chin to keep her wedding dress a secret from Scott. Between her hands, Frederica clutched a small bouquet of blue flowers.
Getting dressed in their new home without Scott seeing any of her wedding finery had been tricky, but Frederica was sure that it was going to be worth it. She couldn’t wait to see his expression when he finally saw her in her wedding gown.
“All right,” said Scott. Turning back towards the county courthouse, he tucked her hand into the crook of his elbow. “Then let’s go get married.”
And that was just what they did, their shared joy echoing back and forth between them throughout the entirety of their brief ceremony.
It was everything that Frederica had always wanted.
Frederica was willing to do without many things, but not without a honeymoon.
Hours later, Frederica’s ridiculous husband carried her across the threshold to the honeymoon suite. Without missing a step, he bore her through the main room and into a spacious bedroom where he set a giggling Frederica gently on her feet.
“Now what, Mr. Behr?”
“Now, I’m going to do what I always meant to do with you,” said Scott cheerfully. Wagging a finger at her, he said severely, “No distractions!”
“Of course not!” gasped Frederica, meaning to sound offended. She mostly sounded delighted.
Frederica was even more delighted when Scott finally got down to the serious business of slowly undressing her. He licked or kissed or sucked a red mark into every inch of skin that he bared, swiftly reducing Frederica to a squirming mess of grabby hands and want.
<
br /> “White ones,” he said, sounding pleased, “and with blue embroidery.”
“They’re new,” said Frederica. “Do you like them?”
“Mhmmm,” hummed Scott, as he settled between her legs. “The flowers are pretty, and they’re very sheer. They’re perfect for this.”
And so saying, he leaned forward to lick a wide stripe up the center of her panties. Through the sheer fabric of her sexy panties, Scott licked her and gently sucked her clit. He fingered her entrance, his fingertips just barely beginning to penetrate her before the fabric of panties stopped him.
“Tease!” accused Frederica, squirming beneath him, and for answer Scott abandoned her clit entirely in favor of laying a soft line of kisses along her inner thigh.
He stroked her belly and reached up to squeezed her breast, the pinch of his fingers around her nipple sending a jolt of sensation directly through the core of her.
And when her panties were sodden – with his saliva and her arousal – Scott finally closed his lips tight around her clit. He flicked it with his tongue and then lapped at it, gently rubbing the soft fabric of her panties against her sensitive nub.
Under him, Frederica writhed and arched. It was frustrating and infuriating and it felt so good. And mixed in with her pleasure was Scott’s, his threaded through with the same vein of heady desire as her own.
Two fingers thrust into her, and Frederica cried out, shocked as much by their sudden presence inside of her as by the orgasm that twisted through her. Pleasure shuddered through her, and she clenched around his fingers, hard.
Generous man that he was, Scott fingered her through her orgasm and sucked her clit. In fact, he coaxed her through two more before giving into her pleas. In a matter of moments, they were both bare, and Scott was crouched over her.
When he guided her member into her, Frederica could feel his pleasure in her slick passage and loose muscles the same way that he could feel her pleasure at the gentle stretch of her body around his length.
Slowly, they began to rock together, sharing breaths and pleasures and sensation. And when they came, it was together, their shared pleasure bounding and rebounding between them, growing every time it was passed back or forth.
Their orgasm seemed to go on and on forever, gentle waves lapping at a shore until the shore was all gone, floated away on a sea of pleasure.
It was a very long time before Frederica found her way back to herself. When she did, she realized that her eyes were closed and her body was heavy with the lingering echoes of their shared satisfaction.
Scott was still on her and inside of her, his dick slowly losing its hardness. Frederica was too tired to mourn its loss. Besides, she was certain that Scott would be more than willing to put it back inside of her any time that she asked.
“Is it always like that between dragons then?” rasped Scott.
“Only the ones who are going to live happily ever after,” sighed Frederica.
“Then we’re going to be the happiest of them all. And we are going to have so many kids,” said Scott, and he didn’t sound at all unhappy at the idea of it.
Frederica laughed.
“Later,” she said. “Let’s practice making our perfect little bear-dragon babies after our nap.”
Orgasms like that took a lot out of a person. And there couldn’t be any harm in just practicing…
